I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra and I noticed the check engine light came on and went to have it checked and they cannot read the codes.....it comes up nothing. When I went to put gasoline in my car (empty tank), it clicked several times as if it was full and then unless I pump VERY SLOWLY, the gasoline will spit back out of the tank. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thank you so much.

Ok, i have an 89 plymouth voyager and the brakes on it are acting strange. The front right caliper wasn't releasing, so i got a new one and installed it. the same problem happened. i loosened the brakeline bolt from the caliper and it released. there is very little brake pressure at the rear wheel on the same side but the left side brakes are fine. is this the master cylinder or is the combo valve shot, or is there a combination of problems at hand? i have been driving the car like this since Jan. the brake pedal felt solid up until last week and then it went soft on me. there ar no fluid leaks anywhere that i can see but the whole system is pretty rusty. any ideas?

My 1994 honda civic EX 5-speed has been having some clutch issues recently. Its been making a rattling sound when I engage the clutch pedal that goes away when in gear and the clutch pedal has been released. I've had to be very careful when releasing the pedal too because if its at the wrong RPM or its released too fast, the clutch slams into gear very hard. Tonight I was headed home from work and I went to downshift for a corner and when I started to release the clutch pedal it slammed into gear and jolted the car very hard. The pedal immediately became stiff and there was noticeable feedback that I could feel through the pedal. Now the car will not go into gear at all and when I engage the clutch pedal I have to push a lot farther before there is resistance and once fully engaged it makes a strange noise.. Sort of an intermittent rubbing sound that repeats with every rotation of the crankshaft. Can you give me any ideas on what could be the source of the problem? I recently changed the transmission fluid and that did not help, so it seems the problem is isolated to the clutch or one of its components. I really appreciate your help, thank you! --James |
